Calorie & Fat Burning
At its core, our Cardio Fusion classes provide a large calorie burn through aerobic activity done with interval training in mind. The average person will burn around 600 to 1,000 calories in a Zumba class.

Full Body Workout
Cardio Fusion is both a dance class and a fitness class. Aside from its heart-health benefits, Cardio Fusion provides a workout for the whole body.
Cardio Fusion makes reaching your target heart rate much easier than standard workout routines you’d find on a DVD or in a gym. It does this by using songs that play around 145 beats per minute. This fast pace makes it feel natural to move around quickly.
Because Cardio Fusion’s music plays at a fast pace, moving to the beat of the music can start to build up your endurance after only a few workouts. It builds up your anaerobic endurance rather quickly.

When my fiancé said he paid for a Zumba class for me and dared me to do it… I had to do it! The first class I took, I was on the back row in the corner. Once she started, I LOVED the music and eventually caught on to the dance steps because they are repetitive. Of course, Tracey would say, “when in doubt, just shake something”, so I did. I eventually ended up taking Tracey’s class for several years and as the time passed, I began to feel more comfortable and started moving toward the front row, met some great friends and encouraged other friends to join me.

Two years before Tracey arrived, I took a fall that left me an incomplete quadriplegic. Both my hands and legs were left with limited mobility. I could still walk haltingly and use my hands even though they are drawn up. I was then as I am now a regular exerciser and was grateful beyond measure that Tracey took me under her wing.
I was particularly interested when Tracey started teaching Zumba (which she has now morphed into her version of cardio fusion), I had always loved dancing and the idea of combining dance with exercise was right down my alley. I tried to take her class using my walker but I did feel somewhat self-conscious doing my own modified of Zumba with all the others keeping up.
So, I am very, happy that Tracey has gone virtual. I can use a kitchen chair for support. I can do the steps halftime. I can do as much or as little as I want right in my den in my pajamas.

. I was so impressed with her energy, her routines ( no two are the same ) and the sweat I had when it was done. I have always been active so I knew I had found a GEM in Tracey. I moved away two years ago and missed her level of classes.

Tracey has been in fitness/wellness for over 22 years. She has an undergraduate and Master’s Degree in exercise science. She is an RN and is currently working on her Functional Medicine Health Coach Certification (April 2021).
She received her Zumba certification in 2008. She teaches a multi-level, energetic dance fusion (It’s a total body sweat for sure!)
She runs her own in-person training business specializing in Women’s health and wellness. She has worked with everyone from elite level athletes, to weekend warriors, to seniors, to people with disabilities, and everyone in between!
Her passion is health and wellness! She loves to share, teach and live a healthy lifestyle! One of the best parts of her job is being on the wellness journey with so many amazing people.
